Jerry serves as the architectural visionary behind some of Houston’s most luxurious condominium developments, most notably The Sophie at Bayou Bend, an exclusive private city estate overlooking Bayou Bend Gardens, and Giorgetti Houston, the venerable 120-year-old Italian furniture makers’ first totally luxury-branded real estate project. In addition, Jerry and his husband, real estate entrepreneur Jacob Sudhoff, President and CEO of Sudhoff, collaborate on a series of exquisite custom homes located in River Oaks, known as the Mirador Sudhoff Showcase.In early 2018, Jerry expanded upon his design portfolio as the creator and co-owner of CASA, an exclusive Italian furnishing and finishes design destination in Houston. At CASA, internationally-renowned, high-end brands such as Giorgetti, Poltrona Frau, Rimadesio, Listone Giordano, Viabizzuno, Tacchini, as well as others, debut their collections, many for the first time in the United States, under one roof. Created to be the turnkey solution to achieving a luxurious European lifestyle, the 10,000-square-foot retail and design destination features a collection of these select brands that elevate room interiors to unrivaled levels of sophistication. At both Mirador Group and CASA, Jerry’s creative focus results in an increased demand for his projects, contributing to greater returns for owners, developers, and investors.
With more than 20 years of real estate experience, Jacob continues to make an impact on the Texas development landscape. In 2010 he founded Sudhoff Companies with a vision to holistically serve clients as an advisor, investor and authority for urban residential development, sales and marketing. Since its founding, the firm has partnered with more than 60 top builders and developers, providing strategic resources that enable them to focus on what they do best. Unlike traditional brokers, the firm invests in its own projects, and over 70% of its builder partners have used Sudhoff-sourced funding. Under Jacob’s leadership, Sudhoff currently controls over 80% of the Houston condominium market and manages more than $2 billion in new home construction. In addition to his multiple business pursuits, Jacob is dedicated to helping non-profits, including the Susan G. Komen Race for the Cure, Covenant House, and Bering Omega Community Services.
As General Manager, Joyce Wang is responsible for the oversight of daily operations at the Casa showroom. She also manages and coordinates marketing campaigns and events. Prior to joining Casa, Joyce spent 10 years working in retail operations and luxury retail management, including Chanel and Tom Ford. In her previous roles, she managed a variety of sales teams and was successful at bringing the Italian luxury retail experience to clients. Joyce holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Consumer Science from the University of Houston.
Contract Division Manager
Habib Issa serves as Contract Division Manager of Casa. Habib plays an integral role in the management and development of the company’s procurement activities and daily operations. With over 15 years of experience, Habib has an extensive luxury retail management background. He began his career as Boutique Manager of Alcon Lightcraft, a custom lighting company, and has held numerous leadership positions at Nordstrom and Saks Fifth Avenue. Prior to Casa, he was the Store Director at The Webster, a luxury multi-brand fashion store.
Robert Regan is a student of the arts specializing in 3d visualization and computer aided drafting. He has extensive experience in both residential and commercial design, high end retail furnishings, and construction. Robert is best known for his architectural interpretation of interiors and his use of high quality materials.
Franny has a Bachelors of Fine Arts focusing on Interior Design. She has experience in the industry with local design firms and for the 6 years before joining the Casa team has worked with many of the prestigious Italian furnishing brands. Her primary goal is to help educate the Houston area in Italian design.
